These terms cover the englishwithangelie.com website and the English lessons you buy on it. By booking or paying, you agree to them.

Who we are

English with Angelie is run by Angelie Lundahl, an English tutor from the United States. You can reach her at support@englishwithangelie.com. Here, “we” and “Angelie” mean her, and “you” means the student.

Who the lessons are for

Lessons are for adults, 18 and over.

What you buy

Live, one-to-one English lessons on video. Each lesson is 50 minutes. You can buy:

• a first lesson for new students,
• a 5-lesson pack, or
• a 10-lesson pack.

Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. A special price from a private link is only for the person it was sent to.

Paying

You pay by card when you buy, through our payment provider, Stripe. We never see your full card number. The charge shows on your statement as ENGLISH WITH ANGELIE.

Booking your lessons

After you pay, you get an email with a booking link. Use it to pick a time for each lesson. Times show in your own time zone. You get the video call link when you book.

Packs

You can use the lessons in a pack any time within 12 months of buying it.

Moving or cancelling a lesson

• Move or cancel for free up to 24 hours before the lesson.
• Less than 24 hours before, or if you don't come, the lesson counts as used.
• If you're late, the lesson still ends at the booked time.
• If Angelie has to cancel, you can book a new time or get that lesson refunded.

Refunds

If you want to stop, email us and we will refund the lessons you haven't used, at the price you paid per lesson. Lessons you have had, or that count as used, are not refunded. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.

Your part

You need a phone or computer with a camera, a microphone and good internet. Please be on time and be kind. Please don't record a lesson unless Angelie says yes first.

Lesson notes and materials

Notes and materials from your lessons are for your own learning. Please don't share or sell them.

Our limits

Angelie works hard to help you improve, but we can't promise a result, such as passing an exam or getting a job. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is never more than what you paid us. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we post the new version here and change the date at the top. The terms at the time you paid cover that purchase.

The law

These terms are covered by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. If you buy as a consumer, you keep any rights the law where you live gives you.
